Colorist, Indie Web Series, Brooklyn
We're gearing up for post-production on an independent web series, aiming to start color grading around October 1, 2026. This project, a darkly comedic drama, explores themes of modern alienation and quirky resilience in a vibrant city setting. We're looking for a talented colorist to help us define the visual tone and enhance the emotional impact of our story. We’ve captured some really unique performances and cinematic shots, and the right colorist will help us elevate them. You'll be responsible for all aspects of color grading, including primary and secondary corrections, matching shots, and delivering final grades. We're seeking someone with mid-level experience who understands the nuances of independent filmmaking. You should have your own grading setup and software, and a strong reel showcasing narrative work is essential. This is a volunteer position, but we offer full credit, delicious meals during work sessions, and a great opportunity to collaborate on an exciting project with a passionate team. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of work, spread out as needed. We're a small production company, but we're dedicated to making something special.
