Color Grading for Music Video

An independent production is seeking a talented mid-level Colorist for an upcoming music video project, a vibrant, high-energy pop piece with some surreal, dreamlike sequences. We're looking for someone with a strong artistic eye to help us craft a distinctive visual mood, enhancing the narrative and performance with bold and nuanced color grades. You'll be responsible for all aspects of color correction and grading, working closely with the director to achieve the desired aesthetic. This includes balancing shots, matching continuity, and applying creative looks. We need someone proficient with DaVinci Resolve Studio and who has their own system, including calibrated monitors. Experience on previous music video or short film projects is a must, and please provide a strong reel demonstrating your color work. Shoot dates are TBD but will fall within September 2026, followed by about 2-3 weeks of post-production work. This is a deferred compensation position (backend percentage), ideal for someone looking to expand their portfolio and work on a creatively fulfilling project with a dedicated team based in Atlanta, GA. We'll provide all necessary footage and detailed notes.
