Color Grading for Feature Film

Our independent feature film, shooting primarily in the Portland, OR area in the first half of October 2026, is seeking an experienced Senior Colorist. This project is a poignant psychological thriller with strong surreal elements, exploring themes of memory and perception. We're looking for someone who can craft a sophisticated and unsettling visual mood, enhancing the film's atmospheric tension and emotional depth through color. You will be responsible for final color grading, ensuring consistency and artistic vision across the entire film. Candidates should have a strong understanding of color theory, experience with DaVinci Resolve or similar professional software, and an impressive reel demonstrating your feature film work. While Portland based is preferred, we are open to remote collaboration for the right candidate. We anticipate approximately 3-4 weeks of post-production work, primarily in the first half of December 2026. This is a volunteer position offering screen credit, meals, and an opportunity to contribute significantly to a compelling independent project.
