Color Grading for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a skilled Colorist to join our passionate team for an upcoming sci-fi web series. This project explores themes of memory, artificial intelligence, and existentialism with a grounded, atmospheric tone, leaning into a slightly desaturated, high-contrast aesthetic to enhance its contemplative and suspenseful elements. It’s a compelling narrative that will challenge and inspire. We need someone who can help us define and maintain a distinct visual style throughout the series. Key responsibilities include creating and applying primary and secondary grades, ensuring color consistency across episodes, and working closely with the Director and Cinematographer (me!) to achieve the desired look. You'll be instrumental in shaping the final visual impact. We're looking for a mid-level professional with a strong understanding of color science, LUTs, and various grading platforms (DaVinci Resolve preferred). Experience with long-form narrative projects, even short films or music videos, is a plus. Please submit a reel or portfolio showcasing your best work. We anticipate approximately 3-4 weeks of post-production work for color grading, starting in early October 2026. This is a deferred compensation role, offering points in the project.
