Senior Colorist, Drama Short Film

Seeking a Senior Colorist to join our independent production immediately for a powerful, character-driven drama short film. This project delves into themes of resilience and difficult choices, with a tone that is visually nuanced and emotionally resonant. We're looking for a skilled artist to help us shape the final look and feel, bringing out the emotional depth through color. Your primary responsibility will be to perform comprehensive color correction and grading, ensuring a consistent and cinematic aesthetic across all scenes, working closely with the director and cinematographer. We need someone with extensive experience in DaVinci Resolve Studio. You must own your own grading suite, including calibrated monitors and a reliable workstation. A strong reel showcasing your work on narrative projects, especially dramas, is essential. We're looking for someone who understands subtle storytelling through color. This is a senior-level position, requiring proven expertise. Post-production is scheduled to begin around September 10, 2026, with approximately 3-4 weeks of work expected. We offer a daily rate of $100-200, paid weekly. We will provide all necessary project files and a clear creative brief. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to an upcoming project with a dedicated crew.
