Color Grading for Web Series

Web Series Color Grading 🌍 Remote mid Budget: Co-producer credit + backend

Our independent production is looking for a talented Colorist to join our upcoming horror-comedy web series. We've got a really fun script, think \"Shaun of the Dead\" meets classic sitcoms, and we're excited to find someone who can help us define our unique visual style. We've just wrapped principal photography and are moving into post. This definitely isn't your standard dark and brooding horror, so we're looking for someone who can bring a vibrant, yet unsettling, aesthetic to the footage. Your main responsibilities will involve collaborating with the director to establish and maintain a consistent color palette across all episodes, performing primary and secondary color corrections, and ensuring delivery specifications are met for various platforms. We need someone who is proficient with industry-standard color grading software, particularly DaVinci Resolve. Please have access to your own calibrated monitoring setup. We're seeking a mid-level professional with a strong reel demonstrating a keen eye for visual storytelling and a good understanding of color theory. Experience with web series or other short-form narrative content is a plus. We're offering this as a partnership opportunity, with co-producer credit and backend participation, as we believe in sharing the success of the project. While we're based in Los Angeles, this role is remote-friendly for the right candidate. We're aiming for a post-production period of approximately 6-8 weeks, with flexible hours.
