Colourist for Short Drama (Remote OK)
Hey everyone, I'm cutting a short drama and looking for a talented Colourist to join the team. It's a character-driven piece, quite intimate and emotional, exploring themes of grief and redemption in a rural setting. It's an independent production, shot on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro, so we've got some decent files to work with. Your main responsibility will be grading the film, working closely with me to achieve the desired look and feel. We're aiming for a subtly melancholic, naturalistic aesthetic. You'll need to have your own colour grading suite and software, ideally DaVinci Resolve Studio. Please have a strong reel demonstrating your previous work, especially on narrative projects. Experience with independent films is a plus. The project is in post-production now, and I'm hoping to get the colour pass done sometime in July. We're flexible on exact dates, but anticipate probably 2-3 full days of work. We can discuss a schedule that suits both of us. It's a paid gig, $200-400/day depending on experience. This can be done remotely, which is great for flexibility. Looking forward to seeing your work!
