Post-Production for Web Series
We need a skilled Assistant Editor to join our independent production, an upcoming web series set in Toronto. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama, exploring themes of resilience and urban life, with a naturalistic visual style. It's a compelling story with potential for a strong festival run. Your main responsibilities will include ingesting and organizing footage, creating dailies, syncing audio, managing media, and preparing timelines for our Lead Editor. You'll also assist with basic exports and quality control. We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in post-production, specifically in an assistant editor role. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential. While we have our own workstation, familiarity with basic server management and file organization best practices is a must. A strong, relevant reel or portfolio demonstrating your organizational skills and attention to detail is required. This is a crucial role for keeping our post-production workflow smooth and efficient. The post-production phase is expected to run for approximately 8 weeks, starting in early September 2026. This is a full-time commitment, generally Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility as needed. We're providing a dedicated workspace and all necessary software licenses. The compensation is a flat rate of $250 per day.
