Post-Production for Music Video

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Editor to join our independent music video project. This project is a visually driven, high-energy piece for an emerging pop artist, featuring dynamic choreography and vibrant aesthetic choices. It will be a fun, fast-paced environment where your organizational skills will be key. Your primary responsibilities will include ingesting and organizing footage, creating dailies, syncing audio, managing media, and preparing timelines for the lead editor. You'll also be responsible for basic troubleshooting and ensuring all project files are correctly backed up and accessible. We expect about 3 weeks of work, starting in the second half of September 2026. Candidates should have a strong understanding of DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro, experience with media management best practices, and a keen eye for detail. While prior professional experience is not strictly required, a strong portfolio of personal projects demonstrating your organizational skills and comfort with editing software is a plus. Access to your own editing workstation (laptop or desktop) and reliable internet is essential, as this role can be fully remote. Compensation is deferred, offered as points in the production. This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a dynamic music video with a dedicated post-production team.
