Commercial Editor, New Orleans

Looking for an editor for a dynamic, fast-paced commercial spot for a New Orleans-based hospitality brand. This will be a high-energy, visually driven piece with a quick turnaround, so we need someone who can work efficiently and bring a fresh perspective. We're aiming for a modern, clean aesthetic that really pops. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, adding graphics and music, color correction, and sound design. This is a great opportunity to get some solid commercial work on your reel. We're looking for someone with entry-level experience, but who has a strong understanding of editing principles and a good eye for storytelling. Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must, and experience with After Effects is a plus. Please submit a reel or examples of your previous work. This is a freelance position, and we anticipate approximately 2-3 days of editing work. We're aiming to start post-production in late August or early September 2026, with exact dates to be confirmed. We'll provide all the footage and any necessary assets. Compensation is competitive at $500-800 per day, depending on experience. This is an independent production, so clear communication and a proactive attitude are key.
