Music Video Editor, Vancouver (Deferred Pay)

We're looking for a talented editor for an upcoming music video, a vibrant and energetic pop track with an indie rock edge. This project has a really fun, quirky concept involving stop-motion animation elements mixed with live-action performance footage, so we need someone with a creative eye who isn't afraid to experiment with different styles and pacing. Your main responsibilities will include ingesting and organizing footage, assembling rough and fine cuts, incorporating visual effects and animation assets (provided), and working with the director to achieve the final vision. We're open to all experience levels, from emerging talent to seasoned pros, as long as you can show us a reel that demonstrates your editing capabilities and aesthetic. You'll need access to your own editing suite and software, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro. Shoot dates are TBD but likely late August, and we anticipate approximately 40-60 hours of editing work spread across a few weeks. This is an independent production offering deferred payment, with an agreement in place for compensation upon distribution and monetization. We're a small, passionate crew and excited to collaborate on this unique piece.
