Editor, Sci-Fi Thriller Feature

Cutting an ambitious sci-fi thriller feature film with a grounded, character-driven tone. This independent production offers a unique challenge in crafting suspense and emotional depth within a dystopian narrative. We need a talented editor to join our team in Atlanta, GA. Key responsibilities include assembling footage, refining sequences, sound design for temp mixes, and collaborating closely with the director to achieve the film's vision. You'll be instrumental in shaping the pacing and emotional arc of the story. Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience editing narrative features, particularly those with complex storylines or genre elements. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, and familiarity with color grading basics is a plus. Please submit a strong reel showcasing your narrative editing work. Experience with sci-fi or thriller content is a significant advantage. This is a flat rate of $250/day. Editing will primarily be remote, but with regular in-person meetings in Atlanta, GA. We anticipate work starting in late August or early September 2026, with a flexible schedule. We will provide all raw footage and necessary assets. Looking for someone passionate about storytelling.
