Commercial Scriptwriter (Equity)

We're an independent production based in Los Angeles, CA, and are looking for a talented screenwriter for an upcoming commercial project. We're aiming for a 1-2 day shoot in the first half of September 2026. This isn't just any commercial; we're crafting a visually engaging, narrative-driven piece for a tech startup, aiming for a fresh, slightly humorous, and aspirational tone that stands out from typical ad campaigns. Think clever storytelling in a short format. Key responsibilities include developing the initial script concept with our small team, writing multiple drafts, and incorporating feedback to refine the narrative and dialogue. You’ll be working closely with the director and producer to ensure the vision is brought to life. While a reel isn't strictly necessary for a writer, samples of previous script work or creative writing are essential. This is an equity partnership, ideal for someone looking to build their portfolio and be part of a project with potential for significant future returns. We provide all necessary production resources and a collaborative environment. Experience level is open; we value fresh perspectives and strong storytelling over years of experience.
