1st AC (First Assistant Camera), Web Series

Hey film fam, I'm putting together a talented crew for an upcoming independent web series shooting in Brooklyn, NY. This is a gritty, character-driven drama with some dark comedic undertones, exploring the lives of unlikely allies in an underground world. We're looking for a sharp 1st AC to keep our cameras dialed in and everything running smoothly on set. Key responsibilities include pulling focus accurately, maintaining camera equipment, managing media, and assisting the DP with lens changes and camera builds. While our camera package is in place, knowing your way around RED Komodo and Canon C70 systems is a big plus. We value a collaborative spirit and a keen eye for detail. Experience level isn't as important as your attitude and a willingness to learn on the fly. If you've got some experience as a 1st AC, even on student or indie projects, that's great. A reel showing your focus pulling skills would be a bonus, but not required if you can demonstrate your abilities otherwise. We're planning for approximately 7-10 shoot days, likely spread over a few weeks in late spring/early summer, with typical 10-12 hour days. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and a positive, creative environment. This is a paid position, $500-800/day depending on experience. Come join our team!
