Gaffer (Mid-Level) for Minneapolis Commercial Spot

Hey Twin Cities crew, I'm Sara, a Post-Production Supervisor, reaching out for an independent production. We're looking for an experienced Gaffer for an upcoming commercial shooting in Minneapolis. This spot is for a local lifestyle brand, with a warm, inviting tone focusing on everyday moments, and a slightly stylized aesthetic. It's a great opportunity to get some creative lighting work in. We need someone who can translate the DP's vision into practical lighting setups, manage the electrical department, and ensure safety on set. You'll be overseeing the setup and operation of all lighting equipment. For this role, you should have your own basic G&E kit, and a car for transport to set is ideal. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of commercial or narrative experience. Please send over your reel or a portfolio of your lighting work. Shoot dates are tentatively planned for late July, roughly two 10-hour days. We will provide all specialized lighting rentals, expendables, and meals on set. Compensation for this position is deferred, with points also being offered.
