Cinematography for Music Video

Hey filmmakers, we're on the hunt for a skilled 1st AC to join our team for an upcoming R&B music video shoot here in Atlanta. This project has a really cool, dreamlike aesthetic with some narrative elements, aiming for a polished, cinematic look to complement a soulful track. We need someone who can keep our camera department running smoothly and efficiently. Your main responsibilities will include pulling focus accurately, maintaining the camera package, executing lens changes, and assisting the DP with set-up and breakdown. You'll be crucial in ensuring everything optically is perfect on set. We're looking for someone with at least mid-level experience on independent music video or short film productions. You should have your own preferred tools (focus puller kit, tape measure, etc.) and a strong understanding of various camera systems, especially RED or Arri. Please have a reel or a list of projects you've worked on, highlighting your 1st AC role. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late July, over 2-3 consecutive days, with typical 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing all camera gear (likely a RED Komodo or similar), lighting, and craft services on set. This is a passion project with deferred compensation, meaning you'll receive a percentage of backend proceeds once the video is distributed and monetized.
