Entry-Level Production Designer, Feature Film

Hey everyone, Jalen here. We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic entry-level Production Designer for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Miami. This is a dramatic thriller, a character-driven piece with a gritty yet stylish aesthetic. We're looking to create visually compelling, naturalistic environments that truly serve the story. Your main responsibility will be bringing our director's vision to life through set dressing, props sourcing, and overall aesthetic design, working closely with the art department. We need someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for storytelling. No specific gear required, but experience with prop management and set dressing is a plus. A portfolio or examples of your design work, even student or short film projects, would be great to see. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting late summer or early fall, for about 4-5 weeks. Long days are typical for features, but we're committed to a professional and supportive set. We provide all necessary materials and a fantastic, collaborative atmosphere. This is a paid position, offering $500-800 per day, depending on experience.
