Production Designer, Sci-Fi Pilot

Hey, filmmakers. My name is Calvin Shaw and I'm a Construction Coordinator working on an upcoming independent sci-fi fantasy pilot in Atlanta, GA. We're looking for a sharp Production Designer to bring our unique vision to life. Think gritty, detailed world-building with a touch of the ethereal, something akin to early Blade Runner meets Pan's Labyrinth. Your role will be critical in shaping the visual identity and ensuring a cohesive aesthetic across all sets and locations. Key responsibilities include concept development, set design, prop selection, and overseeing a small art department crew. We need someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a portfolio that showcases your ability to create distinctive environments. Experience with sci-fi or fantasy projects is a plus, but not strictly required. Please have a solid reel or online portfolio available for review. We don't expect you to own an entire warehouse of props, we'll budget for rentals, but experience sourcing and creating innovative solutions is valued. Shoot dates are approximately late April or early May, typically 10-12 hour days. We're offering a rate of $1000-1500 per day, depending on experience. Come help us build something truly special.
