Editor, Independent Feature Film

Hey there! We're looking for an Editor for an upcoming independent feature film. It's a dark comedy, kind of a Coen Brothers vibe but set in the high desert, really character-driven. We've got some great footage in the can and need someone to help us shape this thing into its final form. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage, inputting music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, and ensuring a strong narrative flow. We're looking for someone who can collaborate closely with the director and producers to bring their vision to life. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must, and familiarity with color grading basics would be a big plus. This is an independent production, so we're looking for someone who's resourceful and passionate. Experience level is open, so if you've got a fantastic reel showcasing your editing skills, we want to see it, regardless of how many features you've cut.
