Gaffer (Commercial) - Nashville

Looking for an experienced Gaffer for an upcoming independent commercial production in Nashville, TN. This project is a visually driven brand spot with a modern, dynamic aesthetic that requires a creative and efficient lighting approach. We're looking for someone who can help us achieve striking visuals and bring energy to every shot. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with the DP on lighting concepts, executing the lighting plan, managing the grip and electric team on set, and ensuring safety standards are met. You'll need to provide your own basic toolkit, though specialty lighting and grip equipment for the shoot will be provided by the production company. A strong reel showcasing your commercial lighting work is essential, highlighting your ability to work on fast-paced sets and deliver high-quality results. This is a mid-level position requiring previous gaffing experience on commercials or similar high-production value projects. Shoot dates are TBD but will be approximately 4-5 days, likely in late July or early August. We anticipate 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $2000-3000 per week, dependent on experience.
