Gaffer for Sci-Fi Drama Short

Hey everyone, Rohan Kapoor here, a Cinematographer working on an exciting upcoming independent short film in Mumbai. We're looking for a talented Gaffer to join our crew. This project is a sci-fi drama, very visually driven, with a strong emotional core. Think mood lighting and creative practicals to really establish the tone and world. We need someone who can translate visual concepts into practical lighting solutions and work closely with me to achieve our desired aesthetic. Key responsibilities include designing and executing lighting setups, managing the lighting department, and ensuring safety on set. You should have solid experience Gaffing on previous short films or independent productions, a good understanding of various lighting fixtures, and the ability to work efficiently within a tight schedule. Please provide your reel or a portfolio with examples of your lighting work. We're aiming to shoot in late July, early August, over approximately 5-6 days. Exact dates and compensation are TBD, but we're committed to fair pay for your expertise. Limited lighting gear will be provided, but your own kit, or access to one, is a big plus.
