1st AC (First Assistant Camera) for Sci-Fi Pilot

We're a small, independent production company gearing up for an exciting sci-fi pilot, a gritty, character-driven story with a visually distinct, almost noir aesthetic. We're looking for a seasoned 1st AC to join our team. You'll be vital in maintaining sharp focus, managing lens changes, and ensuring all camera equipment is meticulously prepped and maintained throughout the shoot. We need someone who’s truly got the experience to anticipate needs and run a smooth camera department. You'll be working closely with our DP to execute their vision and keep things moving efficiently. Project is estimated for a 7-day shoot in early August (dates flexible), long days are expected but we're committed to a professional, respectful set. We're shooting on a RED Komodo, so familiarity is a must. Bring your own essential tools, but camera package and full support will be provided. This is a deferred compensation role with a percentage of backend for the right individual, an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of what we believe is a truly unique project.
