Gaffer (Feature Film, Atlanta)

Atlanta, GA, February 19th - March 15th, an independent feature film is looking for a Gaffer. This is a dramatic indie thriller with some intense action sequences and a tight schedule. We're looking for someone who can help us achieve a specific gritty, atmospheric look while working efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be designing and executing the lighting plan in collaboration with the DP, managing the grip and electric crew, and ensuring all safety protocols are met. You'll be working with a mix of practicals and production-owned lighting gear. We'll need a Gaffer who's hands-on, resourceful, and isn't afraid to get creative with our available resources. Previous experience as a Gaffer on at least one feature film or several shorts is a must. Please share a portfolio or a link to your reel showcasing your lighting work. While we have our base package, any specialized lighting equipment you can bring to the table would be a huge plus, but it's not a dealbreaker. Shoot days are typically 10-12 hours. We'll provide craft services, lunch, and a positive, collaborative set environment. This is a great opportunity for someone to put their stamp on an exciting project and work with a dedicated crew.
