Gaffer (Senior) for Atlanta Web Series

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a seasoned Gaffer to join our team for an upcoming independent web series shooting in the Atlanta area. This project is a darkly comedic drama, think 'Atlanta' meets 'Barry,' exploring the absurdities of the gig economy. It's grimy, funny, and definitely has some interesting lighting challenges. We're looking for someone who can translate our DP's vision into practical, effective lighting solutions, often on the fly in unique locations. You'll be responsible for rigging, problem-solving, and managing a small lighting team. We need someone who owns a solid basic lighting package, including stands, flags, and diffusion, and is comfortable with various types of fixtures (LEDs, tungsten, HMI). Please have at least 3-5 years of experience Gaffing narrative shorts or web series, and be able to share a reel or portfolio showcasing your work. We're aiming for shoot dates in late September or early October, likely 4-5 days of shooting, 10-12 hour days. Lunch and crafty will be provided daily, and we're paying $100-200/day, depending on experience and gear contribution. This is a great chance to work on a creatively ambitious project with a passionate crew. Let's make some cool stuff.
