Seeking a dedicated Grip for an independent pilot shooting in Austin, TX, ideally from the first half of September 2026. This is a volunteer position offering film credit and meals provided on set. We're a small production company crafting a compelling sci-fi drama with a grounded, atmospheric tone, exploring themes of resilience and discovery in a near-future setting. We're looking for someone eager to contribute their skills and learn alongside a passionate crew. Key responsibilities include assisting with lighting setups, camera support, and ensuring the safety of all equipment and personnel on set. You'll work closely with the gaffer and camera department to bring our vision to life. No specific gear is required from you, but a willingness to adapt and be a proactive team player is essential. All experience levels are welcome, from seasoned professionals looking to contribute to a unique project to enthusiastic newcomers wanting to gain on-set experience. While a reel isn't strictly necessary, feel free to share any relevant work or projects you've been involved in. We anticipate about 5-7 shooting days during that period, with typical 10-12 hour days.
