Line Producing for Feature Film

Hey filmmakers, I'm DP Tanya Volkov here looking for a Line Producer for an exciting independent horror feature filming in Los Angeles. This isn't your typical jump-scare flick, it's a character-driven psychological horror with some truly unsettling twists, think 'Hereditary' meets 'The Babadook.' We've got a fantastic script and a passionate team eager to bring this vision to life. As our Line Producer, you'll be the backbone of our production. Your key responsibilities will include managing the budget meticulously, overseeing scheduling, securing locations, hiring crew (beyond key creatives already in place), and generally making sure we stay on track and within our financial parameters. We're looking for someone who can navigate the complexities of indie filmmaking with a keen eye for efficiency and problem-solving. Since this is an independent production, we're building a team based on shared passion and a commitment to the project. This is a partnership opportunity, offering equity in the film. While experience in line producing is naturally a plus, we're open to all experience levels for the right candidate who demonstrates strong organizational skills, budgeting knowledge, and a real drive to make this film happen. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late summer or early fall, six weeks aiming for a standard 10-hour day. Let's make something terrifyingly good together.
