PA, Doc Shoot Brooklyn (Volunteer)
Need a Production Assistant to jump in immediately for an independent documentary project about Brooklyn's underground music scene, capturing its raw energy and diverse artists. This is a dynamic, fast-paced shoot, perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in documentary production. Your key responsibilities will include assisting with equipment setup and breakdown, running errands, helping with crafty, managing releases, and generally supporting the crew to keep things running smoothly. This role is a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of documentary filmmaking on a real-world set. No specific gear is required, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to think on your feet are essential. Prior experience on a set, even student projects, is a plus, but not strictly necessary for this entry-level position. A valid driver's license and familiarity with Brooklyn are helpful. We anticipate a 1-2 day shoot around October 8, 2026, with flexible hours. Meals will be provided on set, and you will receive full credit for your work. Please submit a brief cover letter outlining your interest and any relevant experience. We're looking to fill this role by October 18, 2026.
