Post-Production for Feature Film

Looking for an Assistant Editor to help with our upcoming indie feature film. This is a gritty, character-driven drama exploring themes of isolation and redemption, with a dark, atmospheric tone. It's a passion project, and we're building a dedicated team. Your primary responsibility will be organizing and syncing footage, creating dailies, and preparing sequences for the lead editor. This will involve managing media, ingesting footage, and creating proxies. We're looking for someone meticulous and detail-oriented who can keep our project files clean and efficient. Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, as is owning your own editing workstation (laptop or desktop). Please include a link to your reel or a portfolio of any prior editing work, even if it's just short projects. Post-production is slated to begin in the second half of August 2026 and continue for approximately 8-10 weeks. We anticipate about 20-30 hours per week, with some flexibility. This is a volunteer position, but it's a great opportunity for an entry-level editor to gain feature film experience and collaborate with a passionate crew. We'll be working remotely for the most part, but occasional in-person meetings in Austin, TX will be required for file transfers and discussions.
