Post-Production for Pilot

We are a small independent production company seeking a skilled Assistant Editor for an upcoming scripted pilot. This project is a darkly comedic drama, blending sharp dialogue with subtle visual storytelling, and we're excited to find someone who can help us bring its unique tone to life. The pilot will be shot in Atlanta, GA, and we anticipate post-production beginning in late September 2026, lasting approximately 3-4 weeks. Key responsibilities include syncing footage, organizing project files, creating dailies, preparing sequences for editor, handling media management, basic sound design, and managing exports. You'll be working closely with our lead editor and director to ensure a smooth workflow. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience in assistant editing, preferably on narrative or episodic content. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. While not required, experience with DaVinci Resolve or Avid Media Composer is a plus.
