Production for Pilot

Hey filmmakers, I'm Frank, a Transportation Coordinator on an exciting independent sci-fi pilot shooting soon in LA. We're looking for a dedicated Production Assistant to join our small, enthusiastic crew. This pilot is a gritty, character-driven piece with a unique visual style, blending practical effects with subtle CGI. It's a fantastic opportunity to get real on-set experience and contribute to a project with serious potential. Your main responsibilities will include assisting various departments (primarily transportation, but also art, and set operations as needed), running errands, helping with crafty, and generally being an invaluable support system for the entire production. We need someone who is proactive, a quick learner, and has a positive attitude, even when things get hectic. No specific gear is required for this role, but a reliable form of transportation is a must. While entry-level, any prior set experience (even student films) is a plus, and a strong work ethic is essential. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting late Summer/early Fall for 5-7 days of principal photography, with some prep days beforehand. Hours will be typical production hours, so expect long days. We'll provide meals and a great learning environment. Compensation will be TBD, based on experience and availability.
