Production for Pilot

When a brilliant but disgraced astrophysicist uncovers a shocking conspiracy, she must choose between saving her career and exposing the truth behind humanity's imminent downfall. We're an independent production seeking a skilled Gaffer to join our team for an exciting sci-fi drama pilot. This project has a dark, atmospheric tone with elements of psychological thriller, so your creative input with lighting will be crucial. Your key responsibilities will include implementing the lighting design, managing the grip and electric team, ensuring safety on set, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise with lighting equipment. We’re looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Gaffer or Best Boy Electric, a strong understanding of various lighting techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Please have your own basic G&E kit, though specialized equipment will be provided. A solid reel showcasing your best work is a must. Shoot dates are approximately 5 days in late July, early August, with typical 10-12 hour days. We'll be shooting primarily in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Meals and craft services will be provided on set.
