Prop Master, Feature Film (Atlanta)

Shooting in Atlanta, GA for approximately 4 weeks starting mid-September, our independent feature film is seeking an experienced Prop Master. This is a dramatic thriller with psychological elements, a tight script, and a dark, gritty tone that relies heavily on character development and subtle visual storytelling. Your role will be critical in sourcing, organizing, tracking, and maintaining all props throughout production, ensuring they align with the director's vision and are continuity-perfect. We need someone who can work resourcefully to bring our world to life. Key responsibilities include prop research, procurement (buy, rent, build), set dressing collaboration, managing prop inventory, and ensuring all props are safely handled and maintained. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Prop Master or a similar senior Art Department role on narrative features or shorts. Please have a portfolio or reel demonstrating your work. We provide a kit fee for specialized tools, transportation for props, and meals on set. This is a deferred compensation position (points plus deferred pay), suitable for someone looking to contribute their talent to a compelling independent project and add a significant credit to their resume.
