Screenwriting for Corporate Video
Hey all, I'm a Grip on an upcoming independent production and we're on the hunt for a screenwriter. We're putting together a 5 minute corporate video for a tech startup, aiming for something informative but also a bit quirky and engaging. Think explainer video meets short narrative, with a touch of dry humor. We need someone to craft a compelling script that clearly communicates the company's value proposition while keeping viewers entertained. This means developing characters who represent different user journeys and writing dialogue that feels natural and smart. You'd be responsible for the full script, from initial concept outline to final polish, working closely with the director and client. We're open to all experience levels, from burgeoning talent to seasoned pros. Strong storytelling abilities and a knack for simplifying complex information are key. Please share any previous writing samples or a link to your portfolio. While this is a deferred payment gig, it's a great opportunity to get a credit on a professional project and network with a solid team. We're looking to start this process in the next 2-3 weeks, with a fairly flexible schedule leading up to a late spring shoot. Let me know if you're interested!
