Feature Film Screenwriter (Mid-Level, Remote OK)

Hey all, looking for a talented screenwriter for an upcoming independent feature film. This project is a gritty psychological thriller, think Coen Brothers meets early Fincher. We're aiming for a dark, character-driven story with some unexpected twists. It's a really exciting script that needs a strong voice to bring it to the finish line. We've got a detailed outline and some initial scene work, but need someone to flesh out the full screenplay, polish dialogue, and deepen character arcs. You'll work closely with our director and a small creative team. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of professional screenwriting experience, ideally with credits on independent features or high-quality shorts. A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft compelling narratives and sharp dialogue is a must. Flexibility to work remotely is fine, but you'll need reliable internet access and be comfortable with virtual collaboration tools. Compensation is deferred points plus deferred payment.
