Screenwriting for Music Video

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a talented screenwriter to help us craft the narrative for an exciting alt-pop music video shooting here in New Orleans. This isn't just a performance video, we're aiming for a surreal, almost dreamlike story that really elevates the track. Think ethereal visuals and a non-linear narrative, something that stays with you. You'll be responsible for developing the full treatment, breaking down the song's themes into compelling visual concepts, and writing a concise script that's visually driven and impactful. We're a small, independent production, and this is an upcoming project with a lot of creative freedom. We need someone with a few music video or short film writing credits under their belt, someone who understands how to tell a story visually and abstractly. Please share your reel or a portfolio with relevant writing samples. Shoot dates are TBD, likely a 3-day shoot in late summer. We'll provide location access, some art department support, and a collaborative environment. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.
