Screenwriting for Commercial

Looking for a talented screenwriter to flesh out a commercial concept for an independent production. We're developing a short, impactful ad for a new tech product, leaning into a sleek, slightly futuristic aesthetic with a touch of observational humor. Think "Black Mirror" meets a friendly product demo, but much shorter, obviously. Your primary responsibility will be to take our core idea and refine it into a polished, concise script, including dialogue (minimal) and specific action beats that will drive a visually engaging narrative. We're open to fresh perspectives so prior commercial experience isn't required, just strong storytelling instincts. No need for a reel of previous commercial scripts, but a portfolio of creative writing samples (short stories, unproduced scripts, etc.) demonstrating your narrative voice would be great. This is for an upcoming project slated for late summer, early fall production. While this is a deferred pay position, it's a great opportunity to get a commercial credit under your belt and collaborate with a passionate crew. Expect a few rounds of revisions over a couple of weeks, with flexible hours.
