Scriptwriter for Corporate Explainer Video
Hey Austin creative community, I'm putting out a call for a skilled scriptwriter for an upcoming corporate explainer video project. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece, we're aiming for something with a bit of a quirky, engaging tone (think humor and clear, concise messaging) to explain a new tech product. It's a B2B product, so while we want to be fun, the core message needs to be intelligent and persuasive. We're looking for someone who can distill complex information into an easily digestible narrative arc, crafting a script that keeps viewers hooked. Key responsibilities include collaborating on the initial concept, developing a detailed script, and potentially being available for minor revisions during pre-production. You'll work closely with our small production team to ensure the script aligns perfectly with the visual direction. Ideally, you'll have some prior experience writing for corporate video, particularly explainer content, and a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to write clear, compelling narratives. Experience with tech-focused content is a big plus. We're looking for mid-level experience here. This is an independent production, so we value resourcefulness and quick turnaround. The script will be the backbone of this project, so we're looking for someone with strong storytelling skills. Compensation for this project is deferred, as is common in independent productions of this nature, with the expectation of future earnings from distribution. Approximate start date is early next month, with a flexible schedule for script development.
