Screenwriting for Corporate Video

Hey Montreal scriptwriters! I'm helping out on an independent production and we're looking for an entry-level screenwriter for an upcoming corporate video. This isn't your average, dry corporate gig, we're aiming for something engaging and a bit whimsical, with a focus on a human story within a business context. Think short film meets brand narrative. We're developing a concept around innovation and community, so someone with a fresh voice and an eye for character would be great. Your main responsibility will be drafting the script, working closely with the director to refine the narrative and ensure it aligns with the client's vision. You'll need to be adaptable and comfortable with revisions. We're looking for someone who can translate complex ideas into clear, concise, and compelling dialogue and scene descriptions. While no specific gear is needed, having writing software and good organizational skills is a plus. If you have any writing samples, even personal projects, please include them. We're looking at approximately 2-3 script development days in late August or early September, with exact dates to be confirmed. Compensation is $250 flat per day. We'll provide all necessary project materials and a collaborative environment.
