Senior Editor, Documentary Feature

We're looking for a skilled Senior Editor to join our independent documentary feature film team. This project delves into the untold stories of Minneapolis's forgotten architectural gems, uncovering the human history and community impact behind these structures. We aim for a poetic, emotionally resonant tone, exploring themes of resilience and urban change. You'll be responsible for crafting compelling narratives from a wealth of archival footage, interviews, and verité scenes, working closely with the director to shape the story. We need someone with significant experience editing long-form documentaries, a strong sense of story, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Please share your reel highlighting your best documentary work. We anticipate principal editing to begin in late September/early October, with a flexible schedule averaging 30-40 hours per week depending on phase. You'll be working remotely but with regular check-ins. Compensation is deferred, with points in the film upon release.
