Senior Locations Manager, Feature Film (Paid)

Hey everyone, Priya here. I'm a Colorist working on an exciting independent feature film and we're looking for a highly experienced Senior Locations Manager to join our team. This is a dramatic thriller with a gritty, realistic tone, exploring complex character dynamics in urban settings. It's a challenging but deeply rewarding story that will require a keen eye for atmospheric and impactful locations. Your primary responsibility will be securing and managing all shooting locations within London, from initial scouting and negotiation to ensuring smooth on-set operations. This includes liaising with local authorities, acquiring permits, and managing location agreements. We're looking for someone with a strong network in London's property and council sectors, a proven track record on previous feature films, and excellent problem-solving skills. Shoot dates are approximately 6-8 weeks in late summer/early autumn, with prep starting immediately. This is a demanding role, expecting long shoot days, so efficiency and a proactive attitude are key. We're offering a competitive daily rate of $300-500, depending on experience.
