Senior Sound Designer, Commercials

Hey everyone, Claire here. We're looking for a top-tier Senior Sound Designer for an upcoming series of commercial spots. These are high-concept, visually driven ads for a well-known lifestyle brand, with a focus on capturing moments of authentic connection and intimacy. The sound design will be crucial in building out these emotional landscapes and adding a layer of sophisticated subtlety to the visual storytelling. We need someone who can create immersive audio, handle Foley, and mix diverse elements to deliver polished, compelling tracks. You'll be responsible for all aspects of sound post-production. We’re looking for someone with extensive experience in commercial sound design, a strong reel showcasing your best work, and your own professional-grade studio setup. Familiarity with crafting sounds for sensitive or nuanced scenes is a big plus. Approximately 40-50 hours per week for about 4-6 weeks, with potential for extension. This is a freelance role, we'll cover all project-specific sound effects libraries and any necessary software licenses. Shoot dates are TBD, but we're aiming for late summer, early fall. Located in our studio space in New York City.
