Senior Sound Designer, Music Video

A neon soaked journey through a forgotten 80s arcade needs a killer soundscape. We're an independent production seeking a senior-level Sound Designer for an upcoming music video project for an established alt-pop artist. This isn't just about mixing music; we're looking for someone who can craft unique, stylized sound effects and ambient textures to elevate the visual narrative and complement the track's electro-pop vibe. Think retro arcade sounds, ethereal synth flourishes, and subtle environmental details that bring the world to life. Your primary responsibilities include sound design (sfx creation, foley, ambience), dialogue editing (if any, though minimal), and final mix for the music video. You'll work closely with the director to realize their sonic vision. We're looking for someone with extensive experience in music video or short-form narrative sound design. You should have your own professional-grade sound design and mixing setup. Please submit a reel showcasing your previous work, particularly any projects with a strong stylistic sound focus. Shooting dates are approximately late August or early September 2026 in Los Angeles, spread over two days, with an estimated two weeks of post-production. Daily rate of $500-800.
