Senior UPM, Sci-Fi Thriller Pilot (Equity)

Hey everyone, Trent McAllister here. As a dolly grip, I’m putting out feelers for a senior Unit Production Manager for a truly exciting sci-fi thriller pilot. This is an independent production with a unique blend of psychological tension and high-concept sci-fi, think early Black Mirror meets Arrival. We’re aiming for a fresh, visually arresting pilot that can really turn heads. We need someone with serious UPM experience, ideally in independent film or television. You'll be managing all production logistics, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth, efficient shoot. Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for making things happen are essential. You should be comfortable overseeing crew, vendors, and location management. This is an equity partnership opportunity, so we’re looking for someone who believes in the vision and wants to be a foundational part of this project moving forward. Our approximate shoot dates are late summer, early fall in Los Angeles, likely a 10-12 day shoot. Hours will be typical production hours, and we’ll have a small, dedicated team.
