Senior VFX Artist, Music Video

Hey everyone! I'm Naomi, a PSM, and I'm helping a director friend find a talented Senior VFX Artist for an upcoming independent music video. This is a super creative project, a dark synthwave track with some really striking, surreal visuals we're aiming for. Think ethereal glowing effects, subtle atmospheric enhancements, and some more complex compositing work to bring the director's vision to life. You'll be responsible for overseeing all post-production visual effects, from conceptualization and pre-visualization to final rendering and integration. We'll need a seasoned professional who can handle a variety of tasks including rotoscoping, compositing, motion tracking, and creating realistic digital elements. We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of professional experience in VFX, a strong portfolio showcasing your work on music videos or similar high-concept projects, and proficiency in industry-standard software like After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion. Please send over your reel and a brief list of your preferred software. Shoot dates are TBD but likely late August, early September. Post-production will be flexible, with a goal to wrap by late October. This is a deferred payment project (points + deferred fee), but we're creating something truly special that will get noticed.
