Sound Designer, Brooklyn Commercial

Looking for a talented Sound Designer to join an independent commercial production. This is a punchy, energetic spot for a new tech product, blending slick visuals with a humorous, slightly quirky tone. We need someone who can craft a dynamic soundscape that elevates the storytelling, from crisp foley to impactful sound effects and a polished final mix. We're looking for someone creative who can bring their own unique sonic vision to the project. Your main responsibilities will include sound effects design, foley work, dialogue cleanup, and final mixing for a 30-second commercial and a few shorter cutdowns. We'll be working in post-production, of course, so your skills are critical in this phase. You'll need your own sound design software and access to a professional-grade sound library. Please have a reel or portfolio showcasing your sound design work for commercial or narrative projects. We're open to all experience levels, from emerging talent to seasoned pros, as long as your reel impresses. Post-production is estimated to run for about 3 weeks, beginning late August or early September 2026. This is a remote-friendly position, but local talent in the Brooklyn, NY area is a plus for potential in-person meetings if needed. Compensation is deferred, offered as a backend percentage. We're a small, passionate crew and excited to collaborate with a skilled sound designer.
