VFX Artist, Music Video (Minneapolis)

For an upcoming independent music video, we're seeking a talented mid-level VFX Artist to join our team. This project is a visually driven pop/R&B music video, featuring abstract and stylized environments that will require creative compositing and motion graphics work to bring to life. We're aiming for a dreamlike, high-energy aesthetic that pushes boundaries. Key responsibilities include creating and integrating 2D/3D visual effects elements, compositing footage, color correction for VFX shots, and collaborating with the director and editor to achieve the desired look. You'll be working on approximately 3 weeks of work, primarily remote with some potential in-person meetings in Minneapolis. We require experience with industry-standard software such as After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion, and a strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your VFX capabilities for music videos or similar short-form content. While specific gear isn't required for remote work, access to your own workstation and software is essential. This is a volunteer position, offering full credit, on-set meals during any potential in-person sessions, and valuable experience on a dynamic project. We plan to begin post-production in the last week of October 2026.
