VFX Artist, Web Series (2-3 wks), Chicago

Seeking a talented VFX Artist for a paid engagement, approximately 2-3 weeks of work, between $2000-$3000 per week, for an independent web series in Chicago. We need someone who can hit the ground running with practical effect removal and compositing. This is for a high-concept sci-fi adventure, aiming for a gritty, grounded feel with subtle yet impactful visual effects. It's a fun, ambitious project with a small but dedicated crew. Key responsibilities include rotoscoping, clean-up, compositing, and wire removal. We anticipate around 20-30 shots requiring various levels of attention. The bulk of the work will be done remotely, though some initial meetings in Chicago may be required in mid October 2026. Final delivery needed by late November 2026. Applicants should have at least 3-5 years of experience in film or web series VFX, a strong understanding of Nuke or After Effects, and a keen eye for realism. A solid reel showcasing your best work in compositing and clean-up is essential. Please indicate your software proficiency and availability. We'll provide all necessary footage and project files.
