VFX for Corporate Video

Our upcoming corporate explainer video, focused on a new sustainable energy initiative, needs a talented VFX Artist to bring its data visualizations and futuristic concepts to life. We're looking for someone to create engaging motion graphics, clean up greenscreen shots, and integrate 3D elements into live-action footage for a dynamic and polished final product. This is an independent production with a small, dedicated team. Your work will be crucial in translating complex information into visually compelling narratives for a wide audience. Key responsibilities include designing and animating 2D/3D graphics, compositing greenscreen footage, rotoscoping, tracking, and color correction to match the project's clean, modern aesthetic. We'll need you to collaborate closely with the editor and director during post-production to ensure all visual effects enhance the storytelling. While specific gear is not required from you, proficiency with industry-standard software like After Effects, Cinema 4D, Nuke, or similar is essential. Please submit a reel demonstrating your visual effects capabilities across a range of styles and projects, especially any corporate or explainer video examples. Post-production is slated to begin in the first half of October 2026, with an estimated 3-4 weeks of concentrated work, primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in Chicago, IL. Compensation for this role is deferred (backend percentage). We are a small production company, and while this is a non-union project, we value quality and collaboration above all else.
