VFX for Web Series

An independent production is seeking a talented Senior VFX Artist to join our team for an upcoming comedy web series. This project is a quirky, character-driven comedy set in a mundane office environment, but with several moments requiring subtle, yet impactful, visual effects to enhance the humor and storytelling. We're looking for someone who can bring a creative eye and technical expertise to help elevate these key scenes. Key responsibilities include creating and compositing visual effects shots, motion graphics for on-screen elements, and occasional clean-up work. You'll be working closely with the director and editor to ensure the VFX align with the series' lighthearted tone and aesthetic. We anticipate approximately 3-4 weeks of intermittent work, primarily in mid September 2026 through early October 2026. Candidates must have significant prior experience in web series or short-form content, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of VFX capabilities, particularly in comedic or stylized projects. Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, Blender) is required. Please provide a link to your reel. Compensation is $100-200/day, depending on experience. While you'll primarily be working remotely, occasional on-site meetings in Los Angeles, CA may be required. We are a small, collaborative team excited to bring this vision to life.
