VFX for Web Series

Filming in London, UK, for approximately three weeks starting the second half of September 2026, we are seeking a talented Senior VFX Artist for an independent sci-fi web series. This project is a gritty, character-driven story with grounded effects, exploring themes of artificial intelligence and societal collapse. We need someone who can bring a subtle, realistic touch to our post-production, enhancing the narrative without drawing undue attention to the effects themselves. Key responsibilities include creating and compositing visual effects shots, collaborating closely with the director and post-production team (including myself, the editor), and ensuring visual continuity. We are looking for an individual with proven experience in professional VFX software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, Houdini, Blender) and a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to deliver high-quality, realistic visual effects for narrative projects. Experience with green screen keying, set extension, and minor digital matte painting will be highly valued. This is a unique opportunity for an equity partnership, offering a stake in the project's potential success. We anticipate roughly 3 weeks of dedicated VFX work, with flexible hours that can accommodate your schedule. While we have a small post-production studio setup, ideally you would have access to your own workstation and software licenses. Please submit your reel and any relevant work samples.
